Samantha Visits Tirumala, Offers Special Prayers To The Lord  

Tirupati: Devotees thronged Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple atop Tirumala on Friday as part of the Vinayaka Chathurthi. Film actress Samantha Prabhu, cricketer Dinesh Karthik, Andhra Pradesh Minister Paritala Sunitha invoked blessings of the Lord. They offered special prayers to Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

The devotees jostled with each other to catch a glimpse of film actress Samantha when she had a darshan of the Lord during VIP Break darshan.

Meanwhile, the Ganesh navaratri festivities are being celebrated on a massive scale in both the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with increased emphasis on worshiping environment-friendly clay Ganesha idols.
