Jagan's Samaikya Sankharavam in Hyderabad soon - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress Party will soon hold its Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting in Hyderabad.

Following the High Court’s clearance to the proposed public meeting to be addressed by party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other leaders, the party said in Hyderabad on Wednesday that the date of the public meeting will be announced soon after consulting the concerned officials and the police department.
“We are happy we got permission from High Court to hold the Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting in Hyderabad. It may be difficult to make arrangements to conduct it on Oct19 as we had proposed earlier. We will contact the police department and other officials and fix a date soon for the purpose,” YSR Congress Party senior leader M.V. Mysura Reddy told reporters.
However, there is no change in the venue of the public meeting and it will be held at Lal Bahadur Stadium as already thought, he said.
Earlier, High Court said in its orders that YSRCP can hold its Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting in Hyderabad but said the meeting must be closed between 2 to 5 PM. The court also found fault with the denial of permission by the city police commissioner.
Mysura said the party approached the High Court as the Government had not given permission for holding the Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting.
“It is very unfortunate that the police, acting under the instructions of the sadistic Government, denied permission for our meeting on the pretext of law and order problems. But ultimately, justice prevailed and we got permission,” he observed.
Asserting that the Indian constitution has guaranteed all citizens freedom of speech, Mysura clarified that the meeting is not intended to hurt any one’s feelings or provoke hatred among people.
“We only intended to drive home a strong message through this meeting that welfare schemes and developmental activities can go hand in hand successfully only in a united Andhra Pradesh. This is good not only for our state but also for our entire country,” Mysura Reddy asserted, adding that all the three regions will suffer if the state is divided.
