Sailajanath takes exception to Rayala Telangana

At a time when the Centre is seriously considering the demand for Rayala Telangana and leaders like Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and Diwakar Reddy are battling for it, one Minister from Ananthapur took exception to this.

Primary education minister S Sailajanath on Tuesday said that he opposed the Centre's proposal for Rayala Telangana.
He reiterated that they will oppose Telangana bill in Assembly, as well. Sailajanath's opposition to Telangana comes in the wake of Kotla's meeting with union minister Sushil Kumar Shinde where the latter submitted resolutions passed by 1,700 Gram panchayats in Kurnool and Anantapur districts, in favour of Rayala Telangana if the state is divided.
