Sai Dharam Tej, Gopichand Mallieni Film Shelved?

Hyderabad: Sai Dharam Tej is reeling under pressure to deliver a hit after his last few outings, Nakshatram, Jawan and Inttelligent on which he pinned huge hopes have been a major duds at the box-office. In fact Sai Dharam Tej has worked with big directors like Krishna Vamsi and VV Vinayaka but even they failed to deliver good for this young actor. failed to revive his market.

In fact, the star director VV Vinayak gave a dream comeback to Megastar Chiranjeevi for his 150th film Khaidi No. 150. However, the film Inttelligent starring Dharam and Lavanya Tripathi was criticised by critics and audience alike. It is leant that the producer of C Kalyan incurred loss of Rs 15 crores due to the film failure.

This has now put Dharam into docks as his next with the director Gopichand Mallieni is put on hold. The producer has backed out from the project after the failure of Inttelligent. It may be noted here that duo earlier teamed up for Winner, which also failed to create fortunes for the hero and the producer.

It is learnt that the producer doesn’t want to team up with flop actor-director combination. We have to see how things turn up for Dharam and Gopichand as both are in a desperate need of a hit. On the other hand, Dharam has two films in his kitty which will be wielded by Chandrashekar Yeleti and Karunakaran. Will they take off smoothly or will they too face problems?
