Rules are different if he belongs to ruling party - Sakshi Post

Two elected people’s representatives…. Both from different districts…..

One is accused of abusing a cop on duty during MLC elections.  The gets immediately arrested and sent for remand. His health is precarious and had a surgery recently. The police play the delaying game.  Finally, he manages to secure bail. No marks for guessing. This is Bhuma Nagi Reddy, an MLA from Opposition YSRCP.

The other is accused of assaulting and insulting a government officer of Tehsildar’s rank, when she prevented illegal sand quarrying and smuggling of sand. He uses swear words and his men drag her by her hair. Other revenue officials are attacked too. The police step in only when the news of the attack gets flashed. Again no marks for guessing who the MLA is. He is ruling TDP MLA from Chintalapudi Chintamaneni Prabhakar.

While Bhuma was arrested post haste, the worthy from the ruling dispensation is roaming free despite the  revenue employees going on strike for over 24 hours.  The MLA reportedly used expletives for tehsildar Vanajakshi at a press meet held soon after the attack.  Also, his acolytes have taken to the streets with protests against the tehsildar.

The selective quick response defies explanation. Why the police were hyper active when it comes to Bhuma Nagireddy and why are they competing with snail when it comes to the ruling party MLA?
