RTC to run 200 special buses for ‘Numaish’

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is running 200 special buses for commuters travelling to the All India Industrial Exhibition or ‘Numaish’ at Nampally Exhibition grounds from January 1.

Addressing the media on Friday, RTC Executive Director Purshottam Naik said special buses would run on various routes within the GHMC limits for the ‘Numaish’ visitors.

The buses will operate from these routes: Kachiguda, Falaknuma, Musheerabad, Rajender Nagar, Hayath Nagar, Midhani, Cantonment, Ranigunj, BHEL, Miyapur, Dilsukhnagar, Uppal, Kushaiguda, Jeedimetla, Kukatpallly and Medchal depots.

The director also added that bus traffic would be further upped by the RTC on holidays.

This is the 76th edition of the ‘Numaish’ and will go on for a month and a half.
