Rs2000 Notes Seized After Raid On Gambling Den  

Hyderabad: Huge cash in Rs2000 denomination was seized from a gambling den at an apartment in Netaji Nagar under Saroor Nagar police limits on Sunday. The LB Nagar zone special operations team raided the apartment which is mainly occupied by families. A group of gamblers have been reportedly gathering at a flat in the apartment for some time now to play cards with high stakes.

On a tip off from one of the residents, police swooped on the flat and took 13 gamblers into custody. They seized cash worth Rs2.35 lakh and 13 mobile phones from them. A case has been registered and an inquiry is on.
