Rs. 6,000 cr scam breaks out in Guntur dt
A big scam was unravelled out in Guntur district. The epicentre of the scam is Tenali and the amount involved is of the order of Rs.6,000 crores.
It is reported that some techno freaks have managed to create a duplicate servor of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and fleeced people of the region to a tune of several crores of rupees.
The police got an information that the organizers were running illegal activities with the duplicate server of MCX.
It is reported that the scamsters operated from 63 centres in the area. The illegal activity has its roots in Netherlands, the police said.
Police are suspecting that some ex-government employees are also involved in it.
