Rowdy Gang Arrested For Attacking Family At Langar House; Caught On CCTV  

Hyderabad: Four persons of a 7-member gang that attacked and ransacked the house of one Abdul Hakeem at Langar House on Sunday night was arrested by Asifnagar police on Monday.

According to the Asif Nagar ACP Ashok, the gang attacked the house of Abdul Hakeem with hockey sticks and swords and made away with valuables after ransacking the house. The accused broke TV and other appliances at the house and took away cash and jewellary items from the almirah. The official said the gang led by one Ahmed of the locality attacked the house of Hakeem and beat up his wife and son.

The police said the gang attacked the family as Hakeem asked Ahmed to return the money he borrowed from him. The attack was recorded on CCTV in the area and the accused were arrested on a complaint lodged by the victim family. Hakeem also expressed fears that there's a threat to the lives of his family members from the rowdies.
