Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions are imposed in Begumpet area covering airport to chief minister’s camp office from 3 pm to 5 pm in view of a civic reception and grand rally proposed by TRS for chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on his return from Maharashtra after signing MoUs on irrigation projects.

KCR and his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday signed a pact for construction of irrigation projects across Godavari river, ending the inter-state water dispute. Touted as the historic pact, the latest agreement of both the states will pave way for construction of three barrages on Godavari and its tributaries Penganga and Pranahita.

Here’s how the traffic should move:

Traffic coming from Punjagutta, Greenlands, HPS intending to go towards Rasoolpura Junction, CTO Secunderabad is directed to PNT flyover or alternative routes.

Similarly, Traffic coming from Plaza, CTO Junction and Rasoolpura Junction to HPS, Greenlands and Punjagutta will have to take the Prakash Nagar flyover.

Meanwhile, commuters have been directed to avoid travel SP Road, Begumpet and Secunderabad especially under the Prakash Nagar Flyover and are advised to take alternate route - SD Road, Ministers Road, M.G.Road, Khairatabad Flyover and Upper Tankbund to reach the Secunderabad.
