Roja in tears as marshalls prevent her media address

YSRCP MLA Roja was in tears after she was prevented from talking to the media after she was suspended from the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Friday.

Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad suspended YSRCP MLA RK Roja from the house for one year. Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved a resolution saying that she has used unparliamentary words against the chief minister. The resolution was passed by a voice vote.
YSRCP members strongly objected to the suspension and said the decision was undemocratic. They said Roja was suspended because she questioned the government on the Call Money scam.
