Riot of colours marks St Ann's College annual fest

Hyderabad: It was riot of colours and cultural extravaganza on Annafesta, the annual day of St. Ann's Jr College in Mehdipatnam. Christmas celebrations were also organised on the occasion.
Fr. Benny Joseph, Asst. Parish Priest of Don Bosco church of Bandlaguda, college principal Sr. Pushpa Leela.G spoke on the occasion.
The fest began with carol prayer followed by Bible reading. Two students presented the nativity scene. Chief Guest, Fr. Joseph addressed the gathering in a unique way. He asked everyone to stand and greet the person standing next and give a hug marking the joyous occasion and Christmas. He urged the students to restore meaning in their life by setting a goal for themselves.
He asked students to chase one's dream. One should make an effort to reach them. He said the girls, though in their teens, are old enough to take decisions and wanted them to be responsible for their own life.
Later, Fr Joseph inaugurated a newly furnished sports room and appreciated the college management for encouraging sports.
Colourful skits, soulful carols and contests like glass paintng, pot painting, Best out of Waste added colour to the fest.
