RINL donates Rs.5 cr for AP CM's relief fund - Sakshi Post

Rastriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), the corporate entity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, has donated Rs 5 crore for victims of Cyclone Hudhud.

Despite RINL operations getting disrupted due to the cyclone, RINL Chairman and Managing Director P Madhusudan presented a cheque of Rs 5 crore towards the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's Relief Fund in the presence of Union Minister of Urban Development & Parliamentary Affairs M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday.

Madhusudan also agreed to adopt a village in Visakhapatnam district and make it as a model village against the call given by the state Chief Minister N Chandrbabu Naidu and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu.

The Chief Minister appreciated the RINL's gesture to help the cyclone victims and assured of all necessary co-operation and help from the state government to RINL in its journey towards excellence.
