‘Right to broadband service” on the anvil
Union Minister of state for IT and Communications Killi Kriparani on Monday said an action plan was chalked out for providing broadband facility as a right like right to education.
She said in Srikakulam that the services of the BSNL would be widened and about 2300 cell towers would be installed at a cost of Rs 3,000 crore nation-wide. By the end of October, 2013 “one nation – one mobile” system would come into force through which free roaming facility would be provided to all, the Union Minister said.
