RGV’s Tongue-In-Cheek Take On Nandi Awards

Renowned filmmaker and director Ram Gopal Varma took a dig at the Nandi Awards Committee in his own quirky style. Many fans of Tollywood were eagerly awaiting Varma's response to the recently announced Nandi awards.

RGV, who has been off twitter, for a long time, came out with his own cheeky response. He said that the Nandi awards were mind-blowing, extraordinary and super-duper. He also cheekily said that this committee which gave these awards proved that it had no partiality at all that it was completely objective and there was not even one percent partisanship, he said. The awards were given entirely on merit, he added sarcastically.

He also said he wanted to touch the feet of all the committee members for this remarkable feat. The highlight of his comment was that this committee itself deserves an Oscar Award, he said.
