RGV Takes A Dig At Arjun Reddy’s Tamil Version Title
Hyderabad: Controversy's favorite child Ram Gopal Varma is back and this time he has trained his guns at Arjun Reddy's Tamil remake. Telugu film starring Vijay Devarkonda and Shalini Pandey was a runaway hit and earned rave reviews with many calling it a cult film and trendsetter. Cashing in on its success, Tamil actor Vikram's son Dhruv will make his acting debut titled Varma. The title has now caught RGV's attention who gave quirky remarks in his inimitable style.
RGV on his Instagram posted the picture a Tamil remake's film and captioned it saying, “Arjun Reddy's Tamil version name is Varma. The name sounds familiar and has heard somewhere."
Tamil version is being directed by national-award filmmaker Bala Sethu. The combination carries significance, as Sethu's film gave a break to Vikram in his career. Well the cast and crew details are to be finalised, Shriya Sharma, who played Samantha's sister in Mahesh starrer Dookudu, is said to be the female lead.
