Revanth sits besides Boss at daughter’s engagement
Putting behind his arrest in Cash for Vote scam and fall from grace politically for now, TDP leader Revanth Reddy looked jovial at the engagement of his daughter Nymisha Reddy on Thursday.
Revanth, who got a temporary bail for 12 hours, came out of the Cherlapally prison at 6 AM and left straight for his Jubilee Hills residence. He joined his family and reached N Convention Hall, where the Nymisha’s engagement with Satyanarayana Reddy took place.
He posed merrily for photographs sitting by the side of TDP chief and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders. However, he did not talk politics or the developments leading to his arrest.
The bail, given by the ACB Court of Wednesday, would be in force for 12 hours starting from 6 AM to 6 PM on Thursday to enable him to attend the engagement of his only daughter.The bail comes with several raiders. Revanth would be accompanied throughout the bail period by police escort. He has been barred from participating in any meeting. He cannot also address the media. The court also said that he has not been allowed to use telephones. He has also been barred from intimidating and threatening anyone.
