ACB to question Revanth Reddy for third day
Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths took TDP MLA Revanth Reddy for questioning on Monday despite his lawyers' claim that he was suffering from throat pain and should be allowed to rest.
The TDP MLA underwent medical check up at Osmania Hospital for the third consecutive day before he was taken for questioning.
Reddy's aides Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha were also taken to custody for questioning after medical check up at the same hospital.
TDP legislator was arrested by the ACB after he was allegedly caught red-handed offering a bribe to nominated legislator Elvis Stephenson. The deal was reportedly for Rs. five Crore, of which Rs. 50 Lakh in cash was seized by officials.
The bribe was allegedly in exchange for the support of the nominated legislator Elvis Stephenson in Telangana legislative council elections.
