Rescue works in full swing to save Girija from borewell
Amma .... Hundreds of anxious villagers, and most importantly, the teary-eyed and heart-broken parents of Girija want to hear this word.
It has been more than 34 hours that baby Girija fell into the open borewell in Rangareddy district's Manchala village.
Despite the best efforts, the diggers are yet to reach the baby and rescue her.
Entire Mancharla village is chocked with emotion as the rescuers digging every feet to reach Girija.
The rescue teams are working in full swing to save the girl and they have reached a depth of 35 feet, digging a parallel trench. The girl is said to be struck at 40 feet.
A team of doctors have been deployed on the spot and oxygen is continuously being supplied inside the tunnel to help keep Girija alive.
