Relief to Revanth, can now go anywhere
In a major relief to Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy, the High Court on Tuesday relaxed the conditions in his bail and allowed him to go anywhere in the country including Hyderabad.
This effectively removes the ban on his moving out of his constituency of Kodangal in Mahabubnagar in connection with the Cash for Votes Scam.
However, he has to go to the ACB office every Monday and sign in the register. Revanth Reddy was arrested when he was caught red-handed while offering cash and luring TRS MLA Stephenson to switch loyalties and vote for TDP candidate in the MLC elections. He was later given a conditional bail, which barred him from moving out of his constituency of Kondangal.
