Rebel candidate shocks Paritala Sunitha

Rebels are ringing danger bells in the hearts of the Telugu Desam leadership. In several districts, rebels are threatening to mar the chances of the official TDP candidates.

Sitting MLA and Paritala Ravi's wife Paritala Sunitha had the shock of her life when her one-time follower Vepakunta Rajanna stood as a rebel candidate in Rapthadu constituency in Anantapur district. Rajanna, who has considerable following, could prove to be a cause for concern for the party.

In other constituencies too, the rebel candidates are causing troubles for the party.  In West Godavari district, Dr Babji, a senior TDP leader, is challenging the official candidate. Ditto with Kottu Satyanarayana from Tadepalligudem and TV Rama Rao from Kovvur. Anita is the rebel candidate at Bheemunipatnam constituency in Visakhapatnam. In her words, she is in fray to challenge Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
