Ravindra Reddy calls off hunger strike

YSRCP Kamalapuram MLA P. Ravindra Reddy called off his indefinite hunger strike on Thursday.

Concerned over Ravindra Reddu's deteriorating health, his supporters and YSRCP MLAs have pleaded him to end his fast.
Ravindranath Reddy began his fast at Virapunayinipalle on Sunday demanding drinking and irrigation water to Kamalapauram area and speedy completion of of Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi project.
The YSRCP MLAs requested Ravindranath Reddy to call of his fast stating that they would fight for his demands on the floor of the Assembly.
He ended the hunger strike by sipping lemon juice offered by former minister and party leader YS Vivekananda Reddy and other MLAs.
Earlier in the day, doctors warned the YSRCP MLA that if he continues the fast, he may slip into coma.
