Rapist lynched in Eluru

Eluru: Angry locals lynched a rapist in Venkatapuram in Eluru mandal of West Godavari district on Friday.The person, identified as Suresh, is accused of raping and killing a seven year old. The girl went missing a couple of days ago and was was found stuffed in an iron box. 

The girl, a student of Class I, went missing after going to a grocery shop to get some eggs. The girl's parents suspected their neighbour Suresh and asked him. But, he feigned innocence.
However, foul smell began coming from inside his house and when the people searched, they found the highly decomposed body of the girl sans clothes. Enraged by this, the locals lynched him.
Suresh was known to behave in perverted manner and tried to molest his daughter, due to which his wife and children left him to live separately. Later, he was accused of sexually assaulting a physically handicapped person.
