Rangasthalam Areawise Collection Report  

Summer 2018 began with a bang, thanks to Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam which is doing phenomenal business at the ticket window. Tollywood celebrities can't stop praising Ram Charan's village boy avatar. Charan sure has pulled off the role with much ease.

The film is not only creating waves at the Tollywood box office, but set the cash registers ringing in the overseas market too. Rangasthalam is making all the right noises in the USA as well as Chennai box office due to Tamil Nadu Strike.

Rangasthalam film has taken center stage in the Telugu Film Industry right now thanks to the positive word of mouth from the audiences. The film is directed by Sukumar. The rustic appeal of Rangasthalam sets and songs have been appreciated by the audience. Charan as Chitti Babu and Samantha as Ramalakshmi steal hearts with their performances.

The film has already joined the 100 Crore club at the worldwide box office in just three days. Latest reports indicate that the film has managed to collect Rs 50.09 Cr from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.

There are no new big ticket films lined up for release this week but Rangasthalam will have to compete with Nithiin's Chal Mohan Ranga which has opened in theatres today. Chal Mohan Ranga has received mixed talk from several quarters.

So in all likelihood there will be no threat to Charan's Rangasthalam but chances are that the collections could take a slight hit given that Chal Mohan Ranga has been co-produced by Pawan Kalyan which could be a crowd puller for Nithiin. The film marks the first production under Pawan and Trivikram's PK Creative Works Banner.
