Ram Madhav Is BJP AP In-charge
New Delhi: In a surprising move from the BJP to counter TDP, which broke away from the NDA, they have brought in staunch RSS person and BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav as the Andhra Pradesh state party affairs in-charge. The decision to this efect was announced by the party president Amith Shah today here.
Before taking the decision to make Ram Madhav as state BJP in-charge, Amith Shah had a meeting with AP BJP leaders which included Hari Babu, Kamineni Srinivasa Rao, Manikyala Rao, Purandeshwari, Satish, Vishnukumar Raju, Somu Veerraju and Akula Satyanarayana. The meeting was attended by Ram Madhav also.
It is learnt that state BJP leaders have told the high-command that there was a need for aggressive attack on TDP which has gone to the extent to move no-trust vote in Parliament against their government. It is also said that Amith Shah has given green signal to their leaders. In the process it has also brought in Ram Madhav to lead the party affairs in the state.
Ram Madhav is considered as a spin doctor for BJP, he has successfully run the campaign for the party in North East states and has been able to make a major dent into the non-BJP states. He was instrumental in getting Assam and recently Tripura under BJP fold. The party is hoping that he might repeat the same strategy and charisma in AP too and get the people to vote for their party.
Ram Madhav , a Telugu person belonging to Amalapuram, is popular for his stringent planning and work at ground level. Being a RSS man, his strength has been in building strong ground level cadre for the party. BJP is hoping that he would build all these in this state also.
