Ram Gopal Varma gets legal notice from gangster

Bengaluru: Gangster Yusuf Bachkan sent a legal notice to ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma regarding the latter’s upcoming movie “Rai”.
The movie deals with the life of Jaya Karnataka Sangha chief and former gangster Muthappa Rai. Yusuf Bachkan, in his notice, stated that the movie projects Bachkan character in a “negative” shade. He demanded to see the entire storyline before proceeding further on the movie, as Varma neither met him nor showed him the script.
The movie “Rai” stars Vivek Oberoi in the title role, who teamed up with Varma in earlier flicks like Rakht Charitra and Company.
