Owing to pressure from influential sources, the case was manipulated and the techies did not file a case against the actor. Charan too claimed it wasn't him in the media-highlighted photographs.
However, in a latest development that could nail Ram Charan, a person by the name Syed Saleem approached State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) with evidence on roadside brawl seeking action. The SHRC admitted the petition and directed the police to submit a report. Subsequently, Banjara Hills ACP Sankar Reddy filed a report to the SHRC. According to the report, Ram Charan was present at the spot while his gunmen beat up the techies. (More)
It is learnt that the video footage and photos of the incident which Ram Charan claimed are morphed, have been submitted too.
In the report, police also mentioned that there was no case as the software engineers hadn't lodged a complaint. The commission adjourned the case for further hearing on August 7.
It remains to be seen what happens now that the evidence has proved that it was indeed Ram Charan who's present in the picture and video clip.
