Ram Charan fan dies in theatre stampede

One person died in a stampede as a crowd jostled to enter into a theater to watch Ram Charan's 'Govindudu Andarivadele' film at Emmigunuru of Kurnool district on Wednesday.

According to reports, hundreds of fans of the Mega family tried to enter the theater at Siva theater resulting in the stampede. One person died on the spot while several other suffered minor injuries.

The relatives of the deceased blamed the theater management for not taking precautionary measures even though they expected a heavy crowd on the eve of dussera. Tension movements prevailed at the theater as the relatives staged a dharna.
