Ram, Sita, Ravan now in BJP

Mini screen actor Arun Govil, known for his role as Lord Rama in tele-serial 'Ramayan', is all set to join the BJP.

With this Rama, Ravana and Sita joined the BJP. Ravana Arvind Trivedi and Sita Deepika Chikhlia Topiwala were both two-time MPs of the party earlier. Gajendra Chauhan famed as Yudhishtir in popular serial 'Mahabharat' had become a member of the saffron party.  According to a senior BJP leader, 57-year-old Govil is expected to join the party ahead of the Bihar or UP assembly polls

Interestingly Govil, who is from Meerut in UP, is famous for his role as Lord Ram in DD’s Ramayan and had earlier campaigned for the Congress.
