Rallies against Delhi gang-rape in AP - Sakshi Post


Several film celebrates, supporters of the YSR Congress Party, students from different colleges and other organisations took out a rally to protest against the gang-rape of the 23-year-old paramedical student in a moving bus in New Delhi.

Protesters marched from IMAX to Peoples Plaza along the Tank Bund and raised slogans like 'Save women and save India'.

YSRCP activists took a candle march and demanded capital punishment for rapists.

In Guntur District too YSRCP leaders along with students staged a rastaroko.  Shouting slogans, they accused the government for failing to strengthen crime laws in the country. No untoward incident was reported from anywhere during the protests.
