Rajinikanth’s 2.0 Set To Create A New Record After Baahubali

Rajinikanth's 2.0 is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Unsurprisingly, it is the most awaited film as fans’ expectations continue to rise with each passing day.

Finally, the makers of the movie have announced the release date of the film. It is all set to hit the big screens on April 27, 2018.

It may be worth recalling that last year, on the same date Prabhas' Baahubali-The Conclusion was released and it raked in over Rs 1800 Cr at the worldwide box office. 2.0 is set for release around the same time and seems to be gearing up to set a new record at the box office in Indian history after Baahubali.

2.0 is a big budget film made at an awesome cost of around 400 Cr. Sources say that the teaser of the film is likely to be out on December 12 to coincide with the superstar's birthday. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil.

2.0 Helmed by Shankar which also co-stars Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar in important roles.
