Rajamouli’s Baahubali Among Pakistan Box Office Highest Grossers

Only Bollywood films release in Pakistan. This year has come to an end and five Bollywood films figure among the highest grossers of 2017 in Pakistan. It is worth mentioning here that Prabhas' Baahubali also turned out to be one of the highest grossers in the neighbouring country standing at the fifth position. It is a rare feat for our Tollywood films to make it big globally.

Ajay Devgn's Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of the film and it marks the tenth collaboration with Rohit Shetty. Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film featured Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead roles.The film raked in a whopping Rs 308.60 in all.

Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2 also became a super duper hit film at the box office and it has turned out to be the highest grosser in Pakistan. A major highlight of the film was Salman Khan's guest role and Varun is a hardcore fan of Khan. The film collected was made with a budget of Rs 65 Cr but managed to collect Rs 227.51 Cr at the ticket window.

Jab Harry Met Sejal featured Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles and their third collaboration after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). The film failed to impress the Bollywood audience but it did good business at the Pakistan box office.

Any film of Aamir Khan does good business at the Pakistan box office. His previous movies PK and Dangal too did tremendous business in the neighbouring country. Aamir's recent film Secret Superstar which was all about a girl aspiring to be a singer, won the hearts of the audience.

It's no news that Baahubali-The Conclusion featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah shattered many records at the box office worldwide. In Pakistan, it became the first telugu film dubbed in Hindi that fetched a great collection. The film was directed by SS Rajamouli.
