Rains Show AP Secretariat Has Leaking Roofs, Water Enters Block 4
Just a normal pre-monsoon rain has exposed the hollowness of Chandrababu Naidu Government's Amaravati claims. Water has entered into the IV Block of AP's temporary secretariat at Velagapudi. If the plight of the buildings is so deplorable with a normal shower, it could well be imagined what it is going to be once the monsoon sets in.
Due to the seepage of water, the work in the revenue section was badly affected. Meanwhile, several chambers and offices in the secretariat saw the roofs leaking. In the chambers of YSRCP chief and the Leader of Opposition in the AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, water was leaking continuously.
Meanwhile, incessant rains are wreaking havoc in Krishna and Guntur districts from Monday evening. In several places, trees were uprooted and electric poles damaged. In some places, the tin sheets on the roof have been gadly damaged. Vehicular traffic has been badly affected in several places. In Guntur city, power supply has been cut off.
