Anantapur: The railway police high-handedness was in full view, late on Wednesday night, on the Bengaluru-Kachiguda train when they mercilessly thrashed a passenger.

The incident took place, when the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel noticed a man, Suresh, entering the reserved compartments of the train with a general ticket.

Passengers of the train recorded the incident on their mobile phones and the clipping has gone viral on the social media. The video clearly establishes the brutality of the police in dealing with a situation as they paid scant attention when Suresh tried to reason with the RPF personnel. Later, speaking on camera, Suresh said that he did not commit any mistake and that he was beaten up without any reason. Passengers of the Bengaluru-Kachiguda train, too, condemned the action of the railway police.

However as the train left Salem station, the policeman under the influence of alcohol, allegedly attempted to misbehave with her. At Erode station, the IAF officer and his wife lodged a compalint with the railway police and Chandrasekhar was arrested.
