Special Trains For Medaram Jatara Announced

Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) announced special trains for the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara to be held from January 31 to February 3 in Medaram village in Tadvai mandal Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

The SCR announced 16 special trains that will be run between Secunderabad-Warangal-Hyderabad; Sirpur Kagazhnagar-Khammam-Sirpur Kagazhnagar and Kazipet-Sirpur Kagazhnagar-Kazipet. The additional trains were announced in view of the expected surge in travellers to and from Warangal. One of the biggest tribal fairs in the country, Medaram Jatara is organised once in every two years. The fair draws devotees from far-off places like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and a few parts of Karnataka too.
