Hyderabad: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will visit Telangana on June 1 on the eve of the state formation day.

"Gandhi will address Telangana Praja Garjana, a massive public meeting at Sangareddy town, neighbouring Hyderabad, at 4 pm on June 1," Telangana Congress President N Uttam Kumar Reddy told reporters on Thursday.

Gandhi will also release a 'charge-sheet' against the alleged failures of the TRS government in the state during the last three years, he said.

Telangana came into existence as the 29th state of India on June 2, 2014. Both, the BJP government at the Centre and TRS government in Telangana, have disappointed people by failing to honour the promises made during 2014 elections, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president alleged. "People of the country elected new governments with high hopes.

However, both the BJP government at the Centre and the TRS government in Telangana have disappointed the common man with their poor performance and failure to deliver on the poll-eve promises," he said.
