Raghuveera slams Chandrababu on special status to AP
AP PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy lambasted AP CM Chandrababu for failing to persuade the Centre to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh as promised in the AP Reorganisation Act.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the APCC chief said " Why would other states demand special status if AP is given?," he asked.
He also said that Chandrababu had initially decided to field Nara Lokesh from Tirupati for the by-poll but dropped the idea in view of the stiff opposition his party was facing in the area.
" Chandrababu failed to implement his poll promises. Hence, we fielded a candidate in Tirupati and fight elections," Raghuveera Reddy claimed.
