Raghavulu slams Vayalar Ravi's 'T' comment

CPM state president BV Raghavulu today flayed Vayalar Ravi's statement that the Telangana issue was not an international problem.

At a time when the people of Telangana were agitated over the dilly-dallying of the issue by the Indian government, it was not proper on the part of a central minister and a senior ruling party leader to ridicule the issue in this matter, he said.
He clarified that he did not participate in Chandrababu Naidu's padayatra as it was political in nature. However, he added that his party was ready to fight alongside the TDP on issues that concerned public interest.
He also demanded a thorough probe into the murder of Kannada television actress Hemashri. "The guilty must be punished no matter how powerful they are," he asserted.
