Questioning in AgriGold scam concludes

Hyderabad: The interrogation into the AgriGold scam came to an end on Friday.The CID wing questioned Agrigold chairperson Avva Venkata Rama Rao and managing director Sesha Narayana Rao for the past three days. On the last day on Saturday, the CID wing posed several pointed questions and elicited important information.

They also sought to know where were the deposits kept and wanted details of the assets of the company. However, sources said that the AgriGold honchos did not answer these questions.

The accused in the AgriGold scam have been produced before the Mahabubnagar court. They were sent in remand till March 24. The accused have been sent to Eluru prison.
