PV Sindhu created history when she become the first Indian woman athlete to win an individual silver in Olympics

In a hard-fought final,Sindhu went down 21-19 12-21 15-21 to the Spaniard world number one Carolina Marin.

Though Sindhu dominated the first set, Marin came back strong in the second and third sets and shattered 1.3 billions Indians dream of winning a Gold medal in the Rio Olympics.

Marin takes the women’s Badminton gold and collapses into tears, all her aggression melted. Sindhu seemed to have lost her verve towards the end there as she goes down 21-19 12-21 21-15.
