Puri Jagannadh’s Mehbooba Teaser Out

The first look of director Puri Jagannadh's son Akash Puri's upcoming flick titled Mehbooba was released today. Puri Jagan, unveiled the teaser on his Twitter handle. The Tweet read, "A very special film to me #Mehbooba Check out the Teaser." The film holds a special significance for him as he is launching his son as the lead actor which is helmed by Puri himself.

The 53-second teaser shows the war-torn region where Aakash is seen donning a uniform. It's a love story set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Puri has called the film a highly intense and passionate love story.

Puri's last film Paisa Vasool starring Balakrishna failed to create magic at the box-office. He has pinned high hopes high on this film. It is worth mentioning here that Ram Gopal Varma has heaped praises on Puri saying that Mehbooba is a blockbuster while Mahesh Babu's all-time hit Pokiri is a flop.
