Purandeswari to decide on her political future today

Former Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industries and former CM's daughter and Congress senior leader Daggubati Purandeswari, who quit her minister post after the Telangana Bill was passed in the Parliament,  is planning to convene a meeting with her supporters to discuss her future course of action at her residence on Thursday.  

Speculations are rife that Purandeswari and her husband Daggubati Venkateswara Rao might soon quit Congress for BJP.  

Giving credence to the speculations, was the announcement made by veteran BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu, few days ago,  that one Seemandhra union minister is willing to join the Saffron party.  

Reports also indicate that the Daggubati couple is currently oscillating between joining BJP and TDP.
