Vijay's Tamil Mersal has smashed the box office. trade analysts predict that, Adirindi may also fetch good revenue at the box office. Adirindi is likely to give a tough competition to PSV Garude Vega film at the ticket window.

Adirindi has already generated much hype among the audience for mocking the government over the GST issue and censor board members made an official announcement that they didn't cut GST scene from Telugu Version.
