PSV Garuda Vega Release Was An Ecstasy After Agony For Rajasekhar
Actor Rajasekhar overcame several hurdles and setbacks prior to the release of his hit movie - PSV Garuda Vega.
A little before the shooting commenced for the movie, Rajasekhar suffered a heart attack and was advised three months rest. However, he reported to shooting after just two weeks of the incident. Secondly, the actor's mother passed away after the first trailer of the movie was released. Overcoming the personal loss and his own health status, Rajasekhar continued with the shooting for several days. However, just prior to the movie's release, Rajasekhar's brother-in-law breathed his last. The actor found himself being continuously pulled into depression and setbacks.
In this scenario, the movie was released and was immediately declared a hit. The success of the film came as a big relief for the actor who was facing difficult times on the work and health front. However, Rajasekhar pushed himself to the limits for some of the action sequences of the movie. Speaking about the action scenes, the actor said, "The toughest was the interval episode in which I'm chasing the hacker Niranjan (Adith) in Charminar. I had to run around the streets for seven days, non-stop. We filmed around 100 shots and by the end of it, my knees and legs were completely swollen. But the very next day, the shoot moved to Narayanguda where I had to climb a lorry carrying a heavy gun in hand and do a somersault of sorts to pin the hacker down," recalls the actor, adding, "I didn't think I could pull it off, but somehow found the strength for the required 10 shots."
