Protests In Vijayawada Over Racial Killing

Vijayawada: The murder of telugu engineer Kuchibhotla Srinivas from Hyderabad has become the talk of the town. Protests erupting in Vijayawada over racial killing in US. The CPM activists burnt the statue of US President Donald Trump on MG Road on Saturday. They alleged that Mr Trump's policies were initiating racial and communal violence. CPM state secretary P Madhu said that Trump has spoilt the domain even before he came to power during election campaign.

Being the Trump as president there will be no safety for Indians in the USA he said. The CPM leader Madhu demanded the union government to take immediate action over racial killing.

Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam leader Bonda Uma Maheswar Rao also took out a protest rally and participated in a human chain at BRTS Road. He criticized the terrible assault and said that America was a country of immigrants and President Trump himself came from an immigrant’s family. It is very sad that the USA President himself is encouraging racism. He appealed to Telugu people living in the USA to be careful, as America is not a free country anymore. He also requested the youth who are planning to go to the USA to wait for sometime, as the conditions were not proper.
