Protests Galore Over Foisting Of Cases On YSRCP Chief
YSRCP activists across the State of Andhra Pradesh organised massive protests against the TDP Government's blatant attempts to bail out Diwakar Travels, whose bus fell into a water body after hitting the culvert and caused the death of 11 persons, and foist cases against YSRCP chief YS Jagan. The party said TDP behavious was downright obnoxious and undemocratic.
Vizag: Party leaders Janaki Ramaraju and Gorle Suribabu led the protests in front of the Anakapalle tehsildar office. At Kasimkota tehsildar office, YSRCP activists protested under the leadership of G Nivas Rao.
Krishna: At Nandigama, YSRCP workers staged massive dharnas and the government deployed large number of police personnel. This led to a tense situation there.
Vijayawada: In Vijayawada, the police foiled the deeksha being organised by the YSRCP. The removed the dharna tent stating that Section 144 was in force. Party leaders Gowtham Reddy, Vellampalli Srinivas, B Vijayakumar and others led the protests.
Guntur: Party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu led the protests at Santtenapalle MRO office. MLA RK Srinivasa Reddyled the protests at Mangalagiri. Former minister Mopidevi led the protests in Repalle.
YSR Kadapa: Led by YS Vivekananda Reddy, the YSRCP organised a dharna in front of the Pulivendula tehsildar's office. In Railway Kodur, MLA K Srinivas led the protests.
