Promises have to be fulfilled: E Rajender - Sakshi Post

Recalling the then Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram’s statement (on December 9, 2009) about the process for creation of Telangana, Etela Rajender said promises have to be fulfilled. While addressing the assembly, he said if the resolution is passed, the issue will be cleared within five minutes. He sought the support from all the parties for the same.

"Centre has not solved the Telangana issue even after 800 of them sacrificed their lives for Telangana. TDP is also ready to send letter over the Telangana issue," said Etala expressing his concern. The Floor Leader Julakanti asked the parties to clarify their stance on the formation of Telangana. "If the resolution is not possible here, we will appeal to the Centre," he added.
Before the House was adjourned, Telangana leaders objected to the remarks of the Lok Satta Party president Dr.Jayaprakash Narayan saying many employees from IBM had moved to Bangalore because of the endless Telangana agitations.
It is reported that Telangna Rastra Samiti MLA Harish Rao broke a microphone in a fit of rage.
