Prohibitory orders for 2 months in Hyd

Prohibitory orders under Section 144 would be promulgated in Hyderabad for a period of two months as part of maintaining law and order, said Anurag Sharma, Commissioner of Police.

He said on Monday that rallies and public meetings were prohibited under the rule in the vicinity of Secretariat. In view of by-poll counting at Borabonda division, prohibitory orders were imposed in the limits of SR Nagar and Jubilee Hills police stations, the CP said.
