Proddatur Man Killed in Broad Daylight in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a person belonging to Proddutur of YSR Kadapa district was brutally murdered inside a city bus in Bengaluru. The ghastly incident occurred in this morning in front of large number of passengers in the bus while the culprits walked away freely.

According to the police, the person was identified as Suresh, aged 30, native of Proddutur. He boarded the bus, which was en route Bengaluru, in the city outskirts near Anekal town in the morning hours of Wednesday. The vandals chased the bus for quite some time and boarded the bus near Konappana Agrahaara. Even though there were more than 50 passengers travelling at the time in the bus, the vandals persisted with the murder. They continued to attack the victim until they found that he was dead. After having found Suresh to be dead, the culprits ran away, the police informed.

He was attacked with knives by three vandals. The co-passengers ran away from the bus in fear. The incident happened at Konappana Agrahaara, which comes under the jurisdiction of Electronic City police station of Bengaluru city.

Soon after the incident broke out, the bus driver stopped the bus. The passengers ran away in random directions with fear as the bloodshed started. The Electronic City police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Victoria Hospital and they have started investigating the incident. They doubt that the incident happened owing to old rivalry between the victim and the culprits.
