Private Helicopter Crashes In Nepal

Kathmandu: A private helicopter in Nepal crashed on Monday leaving seven people on board, including a toddler, dead. The helicopter crashed at Bhatine Danda area of Nuwakot district, at a distance of 150 km from Nepal’s capital Kathmandu.

Officials told that 9N-KAK chopper of The Fish Tail Air company lost It’s connectivity with Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower in a very short time after it started from Gorkha. Civili Aviation Authority of Nepal reportedly said that 7 people might have died in the tragedy including Pilot. Nepal army and other rescue teams have already reached the location of incident. It is believed that helicopter crashed due to bad weather.

Fishtail Air confirmed the crash, but did not give any more details. Another helicopter of Fishtail Air was deployed for the search operation.
